Potter Space Extend Long-Term Partnership with Bowker Group

Industrial and logistics (I&L) property company, Potter Space, has extended its long-term leasing partnership with national transport and logistics company, Bowker Group.

The partnership sees Bowker secure a 10-year extension at the Potter Space site in Ripon. To support Bowker's continued growth, the deal also includes a further 50,000 sq. Ft., on the estate.

The deal firmly establishes Potter Space as Bowker's home for business for the foreseeable future. Headquartered in Preston, Lancashire, Bowker Group provides a complete range of warehousing and distribution services supported by industry leading technology. The company occupies space in Potter Space Business Parks across the UK, including at Droitwich, which is currently undergoing £18 million of investment as part of Potter Space’s five-year strategic vision.

Jason Rockett, managing director, Potter Space, said: “Our partnership with Bowker Group is long standing and special. At Potter Space, we are committed to supporting our customers growth through strong partnerships, providing the home for business they need. Bowker Group’s expansion and lease renewal is a testament to this strategy, and we are looking forward to maintaining and further strengthening our long-term partnership with them.”

James Ganley, director at Bowker Group, said: “We have been working closely with the team at Potter Space for many years now and look forward to continuing our partnership as we expand into our new space on the Ripon business park. Our 104-year history is full of successful growth stories, and we are proud to be beginning another decade with Potter Space as our home for business.”

Situated within easy reach of York, Harrogate, Leeds and the North East, Potter Space Ripon has excellent access to the A1(M) corridor. Stretching over 60 acres, the site currently has 20,000 sq. ft. available to let and an additional 90,000 sq. ft. of detailed planning approved. A further application for 23,000 sq. ft. of starter units has been submitted to continue this growth, demonstrating the success of the site as a location for local and national businesses.
