Bournemouth Chamber of Trade and Commerce is signing up more than five new members a month and now has almost 200.
The long-standing trade association brings together large and small businesses, sole traders and individuals. It has been the voice of business in the town for 100 years and its board of directors is keen to advance the case of is membership.
It provides networking opportunities, business and educational seminars, government advocacy, marketing and promotional campaigns. Bill Perkins, Chamber president, said:
“We now have a dynamic board of directors who are really making a difference. There is a new energy which in part due to recently-joined members who are helping drive the association forward. The town’s business community is under pressure and the Chamber and our growing membership proof that we are helping.”
Ron Wain of Deep South Media, a Chamber patron, said:
“Deep South Media sponsored the latest BH Banter networking event and it was hugely productive. There was a room full of entrepreneurs representing diverse enterprises of all sizes.“
